Off-Ice Training

Physical preparation is a set of essential motor skills, forming the foundation of a player's mastery.

Work in the gym to improve the player’s physical condition:
– General physical preparation (strength, speed, endurance, flexibility, agility)
– Special physical preparation (shots, passes, sports games)

This way it becomes possible to focus attention on the features of correct execution, thanks to the player’s static position off the ice. We teach and develop:
– Puck control technique
– Passes
– Various types of shots
– Shots from “uncomfortable” positions
– One-touch shots (one-timer)

Each group works with one or two coaches. The division is based on the level of stick handling skills. Groups of up to 8 children allow increasing the number of repetitions, as well as the quality of performance (individual approach to each player).
